- Proof of PMV vaccination (administered at least 21 days prior to the season) is mandatory and may be randomly checked by Club officials.
- Members must maintain high standards of loft hygiene and biosecurity.
- Members must provide humane care: adequate loft space, proper nutrition, clean water, and necessary veterinary attention.
- Strictly Prohibited: "Hungering" pigeons to reduce weight; flying in dangerous weather conditions; harsh or improper handling; overcrowding in baskets or lofts.
- The Club is not liable for natural losses (e.g., predation, getting lost) but will take disciplinary action against intentional neglect or cruelty.

- Strictly Prohibited: The use of anabolic steroids, hormones, stimulants, or any substance that artificially enhances performance, endurance, or recovery.
- Permitted: Routine vitamins, electrolytes, and legitimate veterinary treatments for illness. However, pigeons under medication must be fully recovered and the treatment cleared from their system before being entered into a race.
- Testing Methods: Testing may be conducted on winners, random selections, or suspected pigeons using feather, blood, saliva, or droppings samples.
- Refusal to Submit to Testing: Refusal to present a pigeon for testing when ordered will be treated as a positive test result.
- Consequences of a Positive Test:

o Forfeiture of all prizes, points, and titles for the season.
o Permanent Expulsion from KPTC.
o Blacklisting and notification to other clubs (if deemed necessary).
o Potential legal action for fraud.
o The member is suspended from all activities during the inquiry.
- In the event of a disease outbreak (e.g., PMV, Paratyphoid, Canker, Avian Influenza), the Club may suspend races, impose travel restrictions, and conduct loft inspections.
- Members must immediately report any suspected notifiable diseases to the Club and isolate affected birds.
- The Managing Committee can mandate quarantine for specific lofts and require a veterinary health certificate before readmitting pigeons to competition.
- Non-compliance with disease control protocols will lead to suspension or expulsion.
