The Kilakarai Pigeon Tournament Club (KPTC) is a premier institution established in the Ramanathapuram District of Tamil Nadu, India, dedicated to the noble sport of pigeon racing.
Founded in 2017 by visionary pigeon fanciers Syed Ibrahim, Mohamed Asik Ali, and Syed Lukmanul Hakeem, the club was built on the unshakeable principles of absolute fairness, radical transparency, and the paramount welfare of the racing pigeon.
KPTC stands as a beacon of excellence and ethical sporting practice in the region.
Our History & Leadership
From its inception, KPTC has been guided by steadfast leadership. Mr. Syed Ibrahim, one of our founding visionaries, serves as the Permanent President for life, providing unwavering direction and upholding the club's core values.
Under his leadership, along with the dedicated efforts of the founding members and the Managing Committee, KPTC has established itself as a model of integrity and organization in the sport.

- Non-Profit Nature: KPTC does not collect compulsory membership fees. We operate solely on voluntary donations and race entry fees, ensuring all resources are directly applied to our objectives. No income or surplus is distributed to members.
- Strict Membership Standards: Membership in KPTC is a privilege, not a right. Exclusivity applies within Ramanathapuram District to ensure undivided loyalty and prevent conflicts of interest.
- Scientific and Ethical Approach: We promote scientific breeding, provide training facilities, and enforce strict anti-doping and health protocols, including mandatory PMV vaccination.
- Transparency and Discipline: Our finances are audited annually by an independent Chartered Accountant. A strict disciplinary code applies, with severe penalties (including permanent expulsion) for violations that threaten the club’s integrity or pigeon welfare.
