13.1 Conduct Authority:
All races are conducted under the supreme authority of the President, Vice-President, and the Race Management Committee.
13.2 Welfare Priority:
The welfare of the pigeons and the safety of the liberation are the paramount concerns, overriding all competitive aspects.
13.3 Prize Distribution & Recognition:
- Prizes (trophies, cash, certificates) are distributed only after the publication of Final Results.
- Annual awards (e.g., "Best Loft," "Long Distance Champion") are presented at the AGM.
- If fraud or doping is discovered after prize distribution, the member must return the prize(s) within 14 days. Legal action will be initiated for non-compliance.
- Prizes not collected within 90 days will be forfeited to the Club.
The Liberation Officer's decision on weather and release timing is final and must be recorded in the official race log.
13.5 Force Majeure & Government Compliance:
- The Club is not liable for races canceled or delayed due to force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, government orders, strikes, transport failures). Entry fees are not refundable.
- The Club shall always comply with all applicable animal welfare, transport, and health laws of India.
The committee may impose entry limits per member per race to ensure transport capacity is not exceeded and to promote fair competition, especially in long-distance events (e.g., 1000 km+).
13.7 Race Scheduling Philosophy:
Race dates are determined by the Managing Committee based on a comprehensive assessment of pigeon preparation, vehicle availability, and most importantly, weather conditions.
The Committee's primary pledge is to always act in the 100% best interest and favor of the fanciers and the welfare of the pigeons. Every decision is made with this principle as the highest priority.
